SST Studios, Ltd. is owned and operated by Sharon Tobasko. Sharon spends as much as 50 percent  of her time sharing her work at art shows where she shows, sells and talks about her wonderful artwork.

The art from SST Studios, Ltd. is very colorful and the subject matter covers a wide range of topics. The enameling process is always explained to the buyer. This explanation helps them understand the technical aspects of fusing glass to copper. The pieces produced by Sharon Tobasko are made one at a time by Sharon herself.

As you speak to Sharon, you'll discover a lot about her character through her artwork. Technology has greatly improved the equipment used to enamel metal and many modern techniques have been developed; still many of the techniques are consistent with very early forms. Enameling techniques have consistently been shrouded in secrecy. Many enamelists are very tight-lipped about their techniques. Sharon's philosophy is quite the opposite. "I want to share the knowledge and techniques of enameling with the world. It is such a beautiful art form and sharing my experience and techniques is a wonderful way to "spread the word".
